No. 02 - Dehydrated Lemon (aka 'Post Limone')
- Sku: CG-D02
Similarly to oranges, lemons are widely used in the gin-making process. Most commonly, the lemon is peeled, and the peel is then dried before infusion and distillation. Lemon peel is in the top five or six most common botanicals used in gin and contributes an easily-identifiable fresh, tart, citrus note whose crispness nicely offsets and compliments the heavier juniper and earthier spice notes. It hardly needs pointing out that a slice or twist of fresh or dried lemon is far and away the most common garnish for G&Ts and Gin Martinis.
NOTE: We’re dehydrating our lemon slices in-house and to order, only using the freshest & locally sourced produce, so you’re always guaranteed the best possible product. We’re also making sure that all our fruit is dehydrated at low temperatures to maintain the vibrant colour, flavour & maximum nutritional value of the fresh fruit.
