As we’re celebrating 1 Year Anniversary of CG Gin Club, it was only fitting that we did by sharing with you an equally important (if not greater) milestone!

And so, for this month's feature, we've partnered up with Kalki Moon Distillery, who have just turned 5, and to mark this special occasion have also released a very unique 'Anniversary' gin. It is the fruit of all the love and experience the distillery has culminated since its beginning. Literally a combination of their Classic, Navy, Premium and Summer gins, this collectors edition gin truly encapsulates the spirit of Kalki Moon. As the Anniversary Gin is a blend, the flavour profile is particularly complex and brings in strong citrus and spice from a number of different botanicals in each gin.

The incredible bottle, designed by contemporary indigenous artist Chern’ee Sutton from the Kalkadoon people, represents the journey of the distillery and the Bundaberg region that surrounds it. The artwork details Bundaberg’s history, the landscape around it and the Bundaberg community, with the traditional custodians of the land at its centre. The boomerang represents the returning support of Kalki Moon patrons and the two handprints symbolise Rick and Kylie and their connection to the distillery, the region and each other.
